Record Breaking Atlanta Signing To Miss First Month of Season

After splashing a record breaking $15 million on Argentinian Ezequiel Barco, Atlanta United have today announced that the youngster will miss the first 4 weeks of the MLS season at least.
Most teams would not consider it a huge blow to lose an 18 year old from their squad at this stage of the season however, comparisons to 5 Stripes star Miguel Almiron and even Lionel Messi have sparked a huge interest in the talent of Barco.
It's understood that the player sustained a quad strain during training on Tuesday and was assessed before the announcement was made the following day.
