Orlando City's all-time leading goal scorer, Cyle Larin is set to join Turkish side Besiktas.

The Süper Lig team lost forward Cenk Tosun to Everton at the start of the Januray transfer window and have since been looking for a replacement.

Larin leaves Orlando having netted 43 goals in 87 career MLS appearances since being drafted as their No. 1 pick in the 2015 draft by the Lions.

The Floridian side extended the contract of Dom Dwyer last week and in the absence of Larin, he could now be partnered by Stefano Pinho who the club signed from Miami FC.

The deal to take Larin from Orlando to Besiktas is yet to be announced but the appearance of the player at his new club in training uniform seems to confirm that an agreement is in place between the two clubs.

Orlando City have today made a statement on the reported transfer:
Orlando City SC is aware of the announcement made by Beşiktaş J.K. regarding forward Cyle Larin. The Club has not agreed to terms on a transfer of Larin and will take all necessary action against Beşiktaş in response to the announcement.
Larin remains under contract with Orlando City through 2019 and is expected to join his teammates at preseason camp later this month.

Besiktas are the defending Turkish Super Lig champions, and have advanced to the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in over 30 years.
