Justin Meram has joined Orlando City after a trade with Columbus Crew sees the Florida club part with $750,000 in targeted allocation money (TAM) and $300,000 in general allocation money (GAM). The Crew will also get an International Roster slot as part of the deal.

Despite over $1 Million heading into the Columbus Crew bank account, fans will surely be disappointed to have lost both Ola Kamara and Justin Meram in the space of a week.

Justin Meram joins The Lions after 7 years in Ohio with The Crew where he made 212 appearances, scoring 42 goals and providing 34 goals.

Orlando have already added attacking prowess in the shape of MLS assist leader Sacha Kljestan, Stefano Pinho, Josue Colman as well as drafting young striker Chris Mueller.

Meram is likely to start on the left side of midfield where he'll be expected to provide assists for Orlando's front man and U.S International Dom Dwyer.
