Very few players were selected in today's second round MLS Re-Entry draft where clubs may draft players who have not had their contract option take up by their current team.

The first pick was made by LA Galaxy who moved for Orlando City SC midfielder Servando Carrasco.

Husband of US Women's star Alex Morgan, Carrasco has spent the last 3 years in Florida with the Lions following his move from Seattle where his new coach Sigi Schmid was in charge at CenturyLink Field.

DC United then picked New York Red Bulls forward Gonzalo Veron.
Veron made 24 appearances for Red Bulls in 2017 scoring 6 goals and grabbing 2 assists.

MLS new-boys LAFC selected Seattle Sounders midfielder Calum Mallace. After beginning his career in Montreal, Mallace moved to Seattle on loan where he made just 1 appearance for Seattle Sounders FC II.
