Zlatan Ibrahimovic Announces Arrival At LA Galaxy

After months (actually, years) of speculation, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has joined LA Galaxy.

The Swedish striker left the world famous Manchester United following an injury that saw him start less than 10 games so far this season.

Not renowned for being too subtle, Ibrahimovic has today placed an advert in the LA Times that simply reads: "Dear Los Angeles, You're welcome."

The bottom of the page is signed by Zlatan with the number 9 which he is expected to wear when he features on field for the MLS giants.

Major League Soccer had begun to lose it's 'retirement home' reputation as clubs opt for young talent with huge potential but the 35 year old self-proclaimed animal looks set to finish a highly decorated career on the West Coast.

Ibrahimovic began his career at Malmo in Sweden before joining giants such as Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain where he lifted silverware such as La Liga, The Club World Cup and English League Cup.

Zlatan's move is still yet to be officially announced by the club as the details of his multi-million dollar contract remain under wraps.

It's also expected that the Swede will feature in the MLS All-Star game in Atlanta where the best players Major League Soccer has to offer will face Italian giants Juventus.
