Anthony Hudson Linked With Sunderland Job

Having fallen from the Premier League in 2017, English side Sunderland now find themselves facing League 1 football next season.

Chris Coleman left his role as Wales manager to take the helm at Sunderland but lasted just a matter of months after failing to avoid relegation to the third tier of English football.

Having drawn up a shortlist of potential new managers, The Black Cats are reportedly interested in Colorado Rapids coach Anthony Hudson.

The British manager joined the Rapids recently following the departure of Pablo Mastroeni in 2017 but has not managed in the United Kingdom since a short spell at Newport County in 2011.

Sunderland are also thought to be considering Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder, Wigan Athletic's Paul Cook and Leicester City assistant Michael Appleton.
