Besiktas Finally Agree Cyle Larin Transfer Deal

Finally. The saga is over.

Orlando City's all time leading goal scorer, Cyle Larin, will swap the U.S for Turkey as he joins Besiktas for a reported $2.3 Million.

The Turkish club are thought to have illegally approached Larin whilst he was under contract and photos emerged of the striker in Besiktas uniform undergoing a medical before Orlando had even been informed the player wanted to leave.

After a battle between the club lasting over 3 weeks, Larin is now officially a Besiktas player and will transfer to Turkey whilst Orlando City keep 100% of the $2.3 Million sale for the inconvenience caused. (The league would normally take 30% and the player is entitled to 10%.)

Larin boasts an impressive record for The Lions; His 89 games in purple brought Orlando 44 goals and 8 assists. The team will be looking to new signings Justin Meram, Josue Colman and Sacha Kljestan to replace Larin's attacking prowess.
