Orlando City Appoint James O'Connor As Head Coach

Orlando City have appointed former Louisville City boss James O'Connor as head coach.

The 38 year old will replace Jason Kreis who parted company with the club three weeks ago.

O'Connor returns to Orlando City after playing for The Lions back in their USL days before he became player-coach in their final two seasons in the lower divisions.

As a player, O'Connor played 176 times for Stoke City and made 137 appearances at Burnley as well as spells with Sheffield Wednesday and West Brom.

His coaching career boasts two USL championship wins; one at Orlando City and most recently Louisville City in 2017.
